Prizes

Sponsored by a generous donation of the Prof. Ram Kumar Memorial Foundation through the International Educational Data Mining Society (IEDMS) , the Data Challenge has a prize pool of $1,500, split among the winners of the 2nd CSEDM Data Challenge. There will be 4 potential ways to win or place in the CSEDM Data Challenge (as explained here).

Please see the Winners page for the 2nd CSEDM Data Challenge winners. There were 4 tracks/phases awarded

  1. Complete: Track 1/Cross-Semester phase ($250 first place, $125 second place)

  2. Complete: Track 1/Within-Semester phase ($250 first place, $125 second place)

  3. Complete: Track 2/Cross-Semester phase ($250 first place, $125 second place)

  4. Complete: Track 2/Within-Semester phase ($250 first place, $125 second place)

One participant or team can win multiple prizes. For example, if your team wins 1st place on Track 1/Cross-semester, and 1st place on Track 2/Cross-semester, you would win $250 + $250 = $500.

CSEDM Data Challenge organizers are ineligible to receive the award.
