I will receive my PhD from the Department of Statistics at North Carolina State University in May and previously instructed for the Data Science Academy. My research interests focus on statistically and computationally efficient methods for longitudinal data.
I received undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, and Operations Research from the College of Science at Purdue University in 2016 and completed my (en-route) M.S. in Statistics at North Carolina State University in Raleigh in 2020.
I worked as a statistician at PepsiCo under the Quaker, Tropicana, and Gatorade brands and as a clinical trial subject for the Gatorade Sports Science Institute. I also collaborated with Delta Air Lines to develop novel methods for flight scheduling and prediction in addition to preliminary COVID-19 models.
I am currently advised by Drs. Emily Hector (NCSU) and Eric Laber (NCSU/Duke) working on distributed methods for semiparametric regression and inference methods for SMARTs.
Some fun facts:
I have analyzed data from FCB's first team squad (see Fat Oxidation Rates in Professional Soccer Players by Randell et al.)
I spent time studying and working in Spain. I raced multiple times while there including against famous bulls.
