COLLEGE TESTING
In most cases, college admissions testing is unavoidable. The two most commonly used college entrance exams are the ACT and SAT. These are both standardized tests that may factor into college admission decisions and can also be used to award scholarships and grants.
ACT District Testing - October 14, 2025 - Any interested sophomore, junior, or senior interested in taking the ACT without writing may sign up by completing the form below and returning it to Mrs. Smith by Thursday, September 4th. Composite will consist of Reading, Math, English and Science
PSAT Testing - October 1, 2025 - Any interested sophomore or junior interested in taking the PSAT may sign up by completing the form below and returning it to Mrs. Smith by Thursday, September 4th. To learn more about the PSAT please scroll to the PSAT section on this web page.
ACT State Testing - March 10, 2026 - State law requires districts to administer the state-funded ACT or SAT to all grade 11 students in the spring of the school year. St. Paul High School has selected to administer the ACT to all current members of the Class of 2026. Testing will take place during the school day on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. This will be the ACT Enhanced. the State of Ohio is requiring Science to be administered. Composite score will consist of Reading, Math, and English

Advanced Placement (AP) are college-level courses taught on the SPH campus. Students enrolled in AP classes take an AP exam in May which would potentially grant them college credit for the course. A score of at least 3 out of 5 guarantees some college credit at Ohio public institutions of higher learning. SPH offers the following AP courses:
