Check out our past Atrium challenges and see what some of your friends have done with Jesus!
Challenge: Jesus' Resurrection Eggs
I challenge you to make resurrection eggs with Jesus! This week when you color eggs with your family, color one (or a few) to remind you of Jesus' resurrection, mercy, and love. If your family doesn't color eggs, that's okay. You can draw, paint, sculpt or even make one out of legos!
Challenge: Join Jesus at the Last Supper
I challenge you to put yourself into the Last Supper. You could build the Last Supper out of legos or blocks, you could sculpt it from play-doh or clay, you could recreate the scene using your stuffed animals, dolls, or action figures, you could draw a picture, or you could even act it out with your family one night at dinner.
Challenge: Jesus' Crown of Thorns
I challenge you to recreate the crown of thorns. You could use play-doh, salt dough (super easy recipes online), toothpicks, pipe cleaners, legos, or whatever you can imagine. Pray with Jesus about what it was like for Him to have to wear a crown of thorns. Then display your crown for the rest of lent.
Challenge: Master Build with Jesus
I challenge you to get out your legos (or other blocks) and build Jesus' tomb. You could even put a character to represent Jesus in the tomb and then open the tomb up on Easter morning and have it be empty (you might even have Angel Michael standing on the tomb after he rolled back the stone).
