Welcome TK and Kindergarten families,

We are excited you will be joining us this upcoming school year as your children step into the beginning of their educational journey! We are looking forward to enriching your 4 and 5 year olds with a well rounded approach to learning. Their curriculum will include a balance of core curriculum infused with a variety of singing, plays, art, physical education, STEAM, and social interactions.

What are the age requirements for Transitional Kindergarten in the 2021/2022 school year?

Children turning 5 years old between September 2, 2021 and December 2, 2021 are eligible to start Transitional Kindergarten (TK) in August 2021. Students turning 5 on December 3, 2021 through June 30, 2022, are taken on a case by case basis at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.

What are the age requirements for Kindergarten in the 2021/2022 school year?

Children turning 5 years old on or before September 1, 2021 are eligible to start Kindergarten in August 2021.

What documents will I need in order to have a successful enrollment?

  1. Birth Certificate

  2. Immunizations (this information will be on the Report of Health Examination for School Entry Form that is filled out by your doctor):

  3. Report of Health Examination for School Entry Form (Please contact your doctor for an appointment, the sooner the better!)

  4. Declaration of Residence:

    1. Category 1 (1 document needed):

      1. Grant Deed to property of residence

      2. Current property tax bill

      3. Rent/lease agreement

    2. Category 2 (2 documents needed):

      1. Current California Drivers License

      2. Current State or Federal tax return

      3. Curren bank statement and/or major credit card statement

      4. Utility bill (within the last 30 days)

    3. Dental Screening (Required 1 year before or during the Kindergarten year)

    4. Consent for Medication at School (Required only if student must take medications at school)

How can I enroll in Deer Creek if we don't live within the school district boundary?
