I am developing a series of models aimed at eventually being able to infer something about the geological state of exoplanets by observing their atmospheres, which may have been perturbed by volcanic degassing.

Why do you do what you do?
I've always been interested in the effect volcanic eruptions have on atmospheres. Exoplanets are at the cutting edge of research at the moment and being part of that is very exciting; plus space volcanoes are just cool!
