Dear Parents,
As we approach Winter Break, we wanted to share with you important information for the last two days of school.
Grammar School
Thursday, December 18th: K-6th will operate on a normal schedule.
Friday, December 19th:
Grades 1-12 will have a half day. Grades 1-12 will be dismissed at 11:40 AM. Carline gates will open at 11:20 AM with gates closing no later than 12:10 PM. All students must be picked up before carline gates close.
There will be no AM OR PM Kindergarten.
Grades 1-6 will not have lunch but please pack a good-sized snack.
Upper School
Thursday, December 18th:
Grades 7-12 will have 3 finals with study hall at the end of the day.
Normal dismissal time (3 PM)
Friday, December 19th:
Grades 7-12 will have 2 finals.
All students will be dismissed at 11:40 AM. Carline gates will open at 11:20 AM with gates closing no later than 12:10 PM. All students must be picked up before carline gates close.

Upper School Final Examinations
Upper School students will complete final examinations in their core courses and are expected to be present in person to complete them. Final exams may not be taken early, per board policy.
In the event of illness, a final exam may be made upon the student’s return if the absence is substantiated with a doctor’s note.
For students with extenuating circumstances, determined at the discretion of the Head of School, we allow make-up exams to be taken during the testing window or at a pre-arranged later date. Students should not attempt to coordinate directly with their teachers regarding make-up exams. Faculty will be notified of these exceptions once the decision is made.
