Flipgrid is a free, simple way to foster short video-based discussions on classroom topics. Educators, learners, and families can use Flipgrid at school or at home to stay connected and share their continued learning experiences.

Implementation Strategies

  • All grades

    • Book Review

    • Explain a science experiment

    • Older students can read their favorite children's book so the younger grades can listen to the book

    • Explain how to solve a math problem

  • K-2

    • Ask students to share a favorite book or story.

    • Show and Tell

  • 3-5

    • Students explain the main points of the chapter

    • Become "pen pals" with someone else

  • Middle/High School

    • Perform an original version of a monologue

    • Help board where students can post and answer questions

    • Divide the class and have each person/group present a different view point for a debate
