Phase 1:
Complete your Self Reflections & Assessment

Deadline: First Friday in October
Phase 2:
Complete your goals for the school year. Directions on where to find this form is on the TeachPoint/Vector Solutions page of this website.
2-student learning & growth goals
1-professional goal
Meet with your evaluator to discuss your goals.
Deadline: October 15th
Phase 3:
Informal Observation
There will be minimum of 2-informal observations; you will get written feedback after the observations.
Deadline: November - February
Phase 4:
Formal Observation
There will be a formal observation over the course of the school year. Formal observations are scheduled and have 3-components.
Pre-Observation Conference. You will meet with your evaluator before the lesson. Be prepared to tell your evaluator about the lesson; what are you planning, what is your goal, and how will you know you reached your goal. There will be other topics discussed as well.
The Observation. Your evaluator will be observing your lesson and taking notes. They might interact with the students as part of the evaluation, it all depends.
Post-Observation Conference. After the observation, you will meet with the evaluator to discuss the lesson, your strengths and areas of focus.
Deadline: Scheduled by end of Nov.
Phase 5:
Mid-Year Goal Review
Meet with your evaluator to discuss the progress of your goals; are you on track, do your goals need to be revised, do they need to be changed? Do you need additional support?
Deadline: Second Friday in February
Phase 6:
Summative Evaluation
You will meet with your evaluator to summarize the school year, discuss your goals and what has been observed in your classroom.
Deadline: Prior to Check-Out
Phase 7:
Year End Evaluations/Conferences
Before the school year is over, each teacher will meet with their evaluator to discuss their goals for the year.
Each teacher also needs to completed a year end Self Reflections form (same as the one you started the year with)
