Wildcats support Breast Cancer Research

Come out and support the Lincoln 7th & 8th grade girls basketball teams on Tuesday, October 8th when they take on Heritage (Berwyn). All $ collected from admission, concession sales, and contests will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The event will include a chance to win 2 tickets to Fright Fest, as well as a photo booth on site. This is the 9th year that the Wildcats have been pitching in to help in the fight against cancer.

8th Grade Boys Basketball Places 1st in St. Patrick's Day Tournament

Congratulations to the 8th grade boys basketball team for winning the PAV YMCA St. Patrick's Day Tournament this past weekend. The boys defeated St. Giles (Oak Park), Unity (Cicero), and George Washington (Lyons) on their way to claiming the title. In addition to the team accolade, Xavier Valdivia and Tim Hawkins placed 1st and 2nd place, respectively, in an individual shooting competition that consisted of 16 shooters (2 from each school). Go Wildcats!

7th Grade Girls Basketball wins 2nd Consecutive Conference Championship

Congratulations to Mr. Mucha and the 7th grade girls basketball team on defeating Heritage (Berwyn) 36-24 in the championship game of the West Suburban Conference tournament! Heritage came into the game with a record of 17-1 and previously defeated the Wildcats twice in close games during the regular season. This is the 2nd consecutive championship at the 7th grade level for girls basketball. Go Wildcats!

6th/7th Grade Boys Volleyball Secures Conference Championship

Congratulations to Ms. Ostrom and the 6th/7th grade boys volleyball team on defeating Brooks Middle School (Oak Park) in 2 games to win the West Suburban Conference Championship! The Wildcats were able to avenge their only loss this season in the championship game in route to a remarkable 18 and 1 record. Go Wildcats!

6th Grade Boys Basketball Wins League Championship

Congratulations to Mr. Crowley and the 6th grade boys basketball team on winning the St. Mary of Czestochowa league championship by defeating Westchester Middle School 34-27. As Mr. Crowley stated, "It was an amazing year of growth!" Go Wildcats!

JV Girls Volleyball Captures 2nd Place in Conference

Congratulations to Ms. Ostrom and the JV volleyball team on finishing 2nd place this year in the West Suburban Conference. The team finished with an amazing record of 16 wins and 3 losses. Go Wildcats!

Congratulations to 3 former Wildcats on becoming State Champions!

Congratulations to Dyanla Rainey (Class of '14), Miyanda Rainey (Class of '14), and Dajanae James (Class of '16) on capturing the Illinois High School Association's 2A Girls Basketball State Championship while competing for Marshall (Chicago). All three ladies contributed in a hard fought win in the championship game over Harlan (Chicago) while Dyanla Rainey was named the player of the game. We are extremely proud of their outstanding achievement!

8th Grade Girls Basketball wins YMCA Tournament Championship

Congratulations to the 8th Grade Girls Basketball team and Mr. Mucha on winning the PAV YMCA Thanksgiving Tournament! Ariana Castro, JaDorae Jackson, and Alyza Rodriguez were named to the all-tournament team and Ariana took 2nd place in an individual shooting competition. Go Wildcats!

Wildcats Raise $ for Breast Cancer Research

Thank you to everyone that came out to support the Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser on October 19th! We ended up raising $1400 to donate to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Go Wildcats!
