Welcome!

Hi! My name is Ms. Densmore, and I am excited to work with you and your children this year! You have made it to my classroom website, where you can learn more about me, how to get into contact with me, and information on what will be happening this year in our class. Feel free to look around and email me if you have any questions.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year!

About Me

My name is Kylie Densmore, and I was raised right here in Clarkdale Arizona. After graduating from Mingus myself, I went to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff to earn a Bachelor's degree in Education, an Emphasis in Science, and a Minor in Psychology. While at NAU, I worked as an RA, which allowed me to interact, bond with, and help students from every age, culture, and background. I even worked in the LGBTQIA and International housing, which was a great experience for me as I strive to be an advocate and an ally for all of my current and future students.

I am very excited to be back in Cottonwood and teaching at an amazing school! I love working with students and being in the classroom, so I can't wait to help all of my students get hands-on and excited about learning Physical Science!

I Love Working With These Amazing Students!

Every student is unique, and I love learning the skills, struggles, and interests of each individual to help them find a love for learning and a future they are excited for.

All students and families consented to being photographed.

A COVID Student... Just Like You. I Understand

I have been an online student just like you have. Transitioning back to in person will take time and grace, but I am right here with you to help make the best of this year, and to remember that our health is a priority.

My Dedication to Creativity and Inclusion

I was honored to paint a mural on the front of my old elementary school that paid homage to the multicultural and Native backgrounds of our students. I want to bring creativity and inclusion into my classroom.
