If your student tests positive for Covid-19, they must stay home for 6 days. The day they first developed symptoms (i.e. sore throat, headache, body aches, etc) is Day 0, the next day is Day 1, then Day 2, etc. They may return to school/work on Day 6. They must still wear a mask when around others through Day 10.  If they test after Day 5 and are negative then they do not need to mask. However, don't be surprised if the test is still positive;  they can still come to school after Day 5 with a positive test but will need to wear a mask. Please call your school's absence line to report their return to school date.

Siblings and close contacts do not need to quarantine and can come to school as long as they are not having symptoms of illness. However, they must wear a mask for 10 days when around others following their exposure.
