Nobody likes to show off their tractor driving skills more than FFA members! Recently, members from the Nashville FFA Chapter did exactly that when they participated in the Section 21 Tractor Driving CDE. This contest consists of two components: a written test and a skills course. During the written test portion, members answered questions on basic tractor operation and safety. In the second component, members had to drive a tractor through a course while pulling a trailer and practice their backing skills while placing a trailer into a simulated shed. The Nashville FFA Chapter placed 4th at the Section 21 competition with Kelton Roethemeyer as the 7th place individual.
Participants in the CDE Competitive Event were (Pictured left to right): Kelton Roethemeyer, Avery Piasecki, Brock Schuessler, and Aiden Wisely.

Mr. Haglund and the Chess (Game) Club students met on Thursday, 9/26/24, for a little learning session of a version of poker. They were quick to tell us that no real money was exchanging hands.
The Chess Club has morphed into a Game Club, and these students aren't content with already established games, but they, in fact, make their own games. In their last get together, Pierson invented Uno Flip Chess, which was extremely exciting and fast-paced they shared.

A little cardboard, duct tape, and a can-do attitude was all students needed on Saturday, August 31 to build and navigate their boats at the Science Club 2nd Annual Boat Regatta.
Which Senior team will have the winning design? Addison, Nori, Mason, Addison, and Trinity (above), or Chloe, Lexi, and Cheyenne (below)?
Griffin, Will, Isaac, and Samuel's "Boats & Bros" is prepared to dominate (above). Meanwhile, Jessie, Bailey, and Bailey are ready for fun with their Alvin and the Chipmunks theme (below). No cheeseballs were harmed in the sailing of this vessel.
Rae, Sailor, Mia, and Avery are working on a water tight design.
This Freshmen entry looks like it's coming along nicely. Great work Ryann, Kelsey, Kinley, Andi, and Estes.
This design needs a little love. We'll trust the process and let Iris, Khloe, Reise, and Lila work.
Jacob, Arabella, and Tierstyn are off to a good group effort (above). Pierson, Ethan, Jaden, and Anna offer moral support to Tyler (below).
The Sophomore team of Camdyn, Alex, Will, Alton, and Mathew are locked in with this sea-worthy vessel.
The moment of truth has arrived. It's go time!
