Homecoming's Third Year

The 2023 Powderpuff tournament was a memorable one for all. It was a great event for students and their families, on a beautiful, 80 degree, sunny day: perfect homecoming weekend weather. 

The event took place the day after a fun Walk-a-thon, and the day involved sports, games, and a high school dance to finish it off. Many teams of all different grades battled against each other in games of flag football, until there was one standing champion. 

We had some of our lovely Nardin faculty as referees who made sure each game was fair, and Ms. Kaz as our announcer for the teams. A few hours later, we had our final two teams competing for the championship! It was Hotline Bling vs. Nardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.  With both teams walking in undefeated, confidence levels were high. The Nardians of the Galaxy ended up taking home the win in a physical game. Both teams played their hearts out.

Besides the flag football games, the Lower School Pep Squad - "mini cheerleaders" - did a performance, as well as the high school cheerleaders.

There was a “poppin” Nardinware tent, with some new Nardinware available! It was a great way to have an in-person shopping experience so you know you are getting the right sizes, and buying things you might not have have online.

It was a great event to have everyone as One Nardin community come together to spend a beautiful morning and afternoon together.
