There’s lots to do in Buffalo in March! The Buffalo History Museum is hosting numerous events this month such as The Life of a Buffalo Showgirl Tour and some Erie Canal history. The Buffalo Public Library is also hosting exciting events such as Blind Date with an International book and Board Game Day.
The Buffalo History Museum’s Life of a Buffalo Showgirl Tour showcases women trailblazers from Buffalo. Each story will be paired with a Taylor Swift song that fits the mood and special friendship bracelets will be given out. This event will occur on March 21st from 12 pm - 1pm. Erie County historian Douglas Kohler will be exploring the lasting impact of the canal on New York. And as a bonus this event is free!
The Buffalo Public Library has a Blind Date with an international book giveaway. Simply choose one of 22 languages then pick up the book. The options for languages are Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish and Vietnamese. The library is also hosting a Board Game Day for the whole family on Saturday March 21 and 28. No registration is required.
