Lucy Alessi ~ October 2025
Hey Gators! I hope everyone is having a great first month back to school! This summer was filled with so many amazing concerts, including Tate McRae’s Miss Possessive Tour. Whether you did not get the chance to see her or just want to reminisce over the incredible show, I asked Nardin students to share their thoughts.
Zara Larsson, Swedish singer-songwriter and dancer, was the opening act for the first half of the North American leg, while singer-songwriter Alessi Rose is beginning to take the reins, opening for the second half of the North American leg. Here is what some of the students thought of Zara Larsson: “I loved her! She was full of energy and had amazing outfits and dances. It felt like I got two shows in one night;” “I loved her energy and excitement! Finally seeing her in real life was such a wonderful experience;" "I’ve been listening to her music for so long and even though I only got to see her for 15 minutes, I thought she was a good performer;” “I wasn’t sure what to expect and was wowed by how organized and cinematic her performance was. From the introduction to choreography it was well put together and felt like a headliner performance.”
If you would like to start listening to Zara Larsson, my song recommendations are: “Crush,” “Never Forget You,” “Wow,” and “Lush Life.”
Next, the main act: Tate McRae. When asked, here is what some students said about their favorite parts of the show. “My favorite part was the medley and all of her dances. I loved hearing “Nostalgia” and “Greenlight” live.” Another student said, “Purple Lace Bra” was amazing live. “Definitely the opening Miss Possessive intro, or the “Just Keep Watching” intro. They were both so amazing and hyped up the crowd so much,” another student explained. Lastly, a student wrote, “I loved how she had the stage b set on the keyboard.”
Lastly, when asked about their experience at the concert, some of the students said, “Even though my seats weren’t that close, I still had such an amazing time. Tate is such an amazing performer.” Everyone loved the concert, “It was so fun and it was impossible to take your eyes off of the show; from the dancing to the fire to the music, so much was going on!”
The Miss Possessive Tour isn’t over yet! If you did not get a chance to see Tate McRae live in concert, she has shows all over the United States until November 7th.
