At our office, if a member of the United States Armed Forces (SOFA) who is staying in Japan wishes to withdraw from the SOFA Status(discharged from the U.S. military) and wish to live in Japan as a foreigner, we will assist you in obtaining a status of residence (Visa). We support the application process for obtaining licenses.
The period during which you can apply is 30 days after you withdraw from SOFA Status. It may take some time to prepare all the necessary documents for your application. Please consult with us as soon as possible and before you withdraw from SOFA Status. Please note that if 60 days have passed since you left SOFA, you will be considered to be staying in Japan illegally.

Our basic service fees are starting from 220,000 yen *The amount may change depending on the case.
■ For those who have no connection with Japanese citizens
We will assess and consider whether it is possible to obtain permission on a case-by-case basis, so please contact us first.
The documents required for the application issued by the U.S. Armed Forces must be obtained by the customer.
The cost of various documents issued by the Japanese government office, etc. will be borne by the customer as a separate actual costs. (If our office obtains the necessary documents on your behalf, we will charge a fee of 2,200 yen per copy.)
