What is NISC?
Nairong International Students’ Conference (NISC) is an international seminar conducted by Matthayom Watnairong School since 2015. NISC aims to allow students to discuss particular global issues, establish robust connections among participants from different regions, and express cultural entities with friendships through activities and shows.
School History
Matthayom Watnairong School, a semi-international government institution overseen by the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 1 within the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Ministry of Education, is situated at Borommaratchachonnani Road 15, Arun Amarin Subdistrict, Bangkok Noi District, Bangkok. Catering to students from Grade 7 to Grade 12, the school employs a multilingual approach, offering teachings in Thai, English, Chinese, French, German, and Japanese.
Wat Nairong School was established on February 14, 1955. Matthayom Watnairong School achieved recognition as an outstanding secondary school by the Department of General Education. It received royal awards in the academic years 1981, 1991, and 1998. The school actively participated in the International Standard School Project (ISSP) during the academic year 2002 and obtained approval from the Ministry of Education to offer English teaching courses (English Program).
As a trailblazer in English Programme Schools in Thailand, the school has been delivering a top-notch English Programme (EP) in Bangkok since 2002. With offerings like the Mini-English Programme (MEP) and the Integrated English Programme (IEP).
The approaching year, 2025, marks the celebration of the school's 70th anniversary.
