Passionate about growing and developing as a creative?
Looking forward to joining a creative community?
Yearning to learn, grow and excel in a carefully crafted environment?
Poised to develop a professional brand?
Interested in a career as a creative?
Introducing the Creatives’ Accelerator Programme (CAP), a free capacity building programme which incorporates intensive training and hands-on practical sessions to set you up for success as a creative.
Over the course of two months, successful applicants will be taken through sessions that have been carefully crafted to advance their creativity and to strategically position them in the creative landscape.
The programme will specifically nurture the participant’s creative prowess, guiding you from a stage of discovery to finding purpose in your creative expression: either as a career path, a tool for social impact (creative activism), or as a therapeutic endeavour.
The next phases of lessons and coaching are modelled to accelerate you, the creative, into proficiency and professionalism. The programme will be presented over safe on-site workshops, collaborative projects and virtual engagements.

We are looking for creatives who identify as storytellers and express their art forms in the following categories:
Literary storytellers- you weave words to tell stories: writers of all forms
Visual storytellers- you use images to tell stories: illustrators, animators, photographers, visual artists, cartoonists
Aural storytellers- you use sound and voice to tell your stories: spoken word artists, performance poets, podcasters, voice actors
Eligibility Criteria
Aged 18 to 25
Possess a creative superpower or the potential to unearth a creative superpower
Willingness to commit to the intensive programme
Should be in Accra for the duration of the programme
Duration and Important Dates
The in-person training sessions will start on the last Saturday in February and will continue over the first three Saturdays in March.
You can be a full-time student or do your Monday to Friday (9 to 5) and still be a participant of CAP.
After this, there will be mostly virtual engagements where you carry out creative projects which lie in either of the following ends of creative expressions: career paths, for social impact and as a therapeutic endeavour.
Beyond CAP, we’d pair you with a mentor for some three months to usher you into the creative terrain.

The delivery of CAP will be a blended combination. There’ll be in-person sessions in Accra on Saturdays and virtual engagements in the course of the week that will require not more than 3 hours of your week.
Unfortunately, CAP is not a residential programme. Thus, we cannot provide you with accommodation. Since the in-person sessions will be held in Accra, you can absolutely apply, provided that you are able to be present for the four consecutive sessions.
Participating in CAP is free of charge. It will only cost you your Saturdays and not more than 3 hours a week. If you are determined or poised to be committed to this, then you should be good to go.
We hope to have answered any questions you may have.
