Jill Jeran holds a bachelor of Music Education degree from Taylor University. Teacher of vocal and general music at Carroll High School, Mrs. Jeran directs the Carroll Show Choir’s Select Sound & Minstrel Magic. The groups have won numerous Grand Championships throughout the Midwest and are consistent finalists at the ISSMA State contest and FAME National competition and are known for their innovative shows.
Mrs. Jeran has personally recorded three CD projects and is most interested in international music as two of her CD’s are in Turkish. She has also worked as a studio musician, recording background vocals and commercial jingles. She is an active board member of the Rock 4 the Rock Worship Band Camp and is a fan of all musical theatre. She is a member of the American Choral Directors Association and the National Association for Music Education.
