SC Alliance of Dual Enrollment Partnerships

Purpose

SCADEP is the South Carolina affiliate organization of the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP). The purpose of this organization is to support dual enrollment programs through advocacy of best practice, research, and collaboration that promote student access and completion, program development, professional development, communication, and high quality standards. SCADEP will provide a forum for participants to share best practices, provide training and disseminate information regarding dual enrollment. 

Key Focus Areas

• Disseminating the NACEP standards of quality dual/concurrent enrollment programs

• Facilitating the interchange of ideas and issues

• Fostering cooperation among education professionals and agencies

• Fostering strong partnerships between secondary and postsecondary education institutions

• Fostering diversity, equity and inclusion of professionals and students in dual/concurrent enrollment programs to ensure student access, success, especially moderate-performing students

• Providing opportunities for professional development

• Serving as an advocate and educator for dual enrollment with stakeholders and legislators
