Mark Racine

Chief Information Officer for the Boston Public Schools

Mark Racine has been the Chief Information Officer for the Boston Public Schools since 2013 and leads the IT operations for a district of 7500 employees and 57,000 students. Mark comes from an education background, having studied education at Stonehill College, and began his career in education as a 5th grade teacher and data/technology coach. Mark has led numerous initiatives to modernize the technology infrastructure in Boston Public Schools, including an overhaul of the district's student data systems, email systems, and currently the launch of a new data center and network infrastructure for the district's 130 buildings.
