Why study Food Technology at Garnock?
Food Technology at Garnock is an exciting and engaging subject. S3 pupils attend the department for three periods a week, where they develop important life skills, including cookery techniques and processes, planning and organisation, and food safety and hygiene. Pupils also learn about current dietary advice and sustainability. The course helps students gain confidence in the kitchen and prepares them for progressing to National 4/5 Practical Cookery in S4.
