ADVERTISING DESIGN HS Only

Students will need access to design software for this contest onsite at Districts. Students are encouraged to bring your own school computers with software loaded.
(WHS has available; Adobe Suite with Photoshop 2021, InDesign 2021 and Illustrator 2021 - BUT we will need to set up accounts for competitors AND move computers into appropriate contest rooms prior to. Prefer if contestants bring their own equipment if able.)
ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING HS Only

WHS has AutoCad 2021 if wanted - otherwise bring your own computer setup for each student competing. (WHS does not have Revit or Architecture, etc. loaded on our computers)
Students MUST Bring a USB Stick to save your PDF Drawings onto and transfer to the Tech Chairs computer to print.
Students MUST know how to save their drawings as a PDF so that the Tech Chair can print all drawings for judges to score. NO onscreen judging will occur.

This will be a CAD/CAM Contest. Students will NOT be expected to run our Haas Mills - we have experts on site to load and run students code so their parts will get made. (if coded right) Students will observe their part being made alongside the expert.
IF bringing your own computers/software - you will NEED a post for a generic Haas 3-axis mill loaded in your cam software.
WHS has Inventor 2021 and MasterCam X9 if wanted - otherwise bring your own computer setup for each student competing.

This will be an "Editing Contest" only... Teams will be handed a thumbdrive at the start of the contest with pre-recorded video footage on it. The Tech Chair will tell the teams what their "topic" is for the video at the start. The team will have their contest time to edit and export a finished video by the deadline.
