Geometry in Construction

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a two‐part course and is a two‐period block. Geometry in Construction is an integrated course where students learn a variety of topics through building a significant construction project that will be of service to the Watertown community. Students will learn safety, problem solving, tool use, print reading, and career exploration. Geometry content is similar to other geometry courses in the Math Department and is designed to prepare students for Advanced Algebra. The course is team taught with a Math and Tech Ed teacher. Students do not need prior construction experience.
