James M. Bennett High School - Volume 4 Issue 5 - September 21, 2025
Connection. Community. Success.
Dr. Savage's Vision
"To cultivate authentic relationships where every staff member and student feels valued, seen, and heard, creating a community where all can thrive and achieve success.”
A Message from the Principal
We are excited to see so many of our student clubs getting started! Please encourage your child to get involved. Clubs are a wonderful way to build friendships and explore new interests. Information about club opportunities is being shared each morning during announcements.
A few reminders for the week:
Arrival Time: Students who walk or are dropped off must be in class by 7:45 a.m. to be considered on time.
Back to School Night: Please join us on September 22nd from 4–6 p.m. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing more about the year ahead.
Dress Code: While hats, hoods, and head coverings have greatly improved, we are still seeing some issues with skull caps and midsections showing. Please help us by reminding your student to ensure their remove skull cap and/or stomach is covered during school.
Learning First: We are committed to creating a culture where learning is the priority. Students who cause distractions to the learning environment will be addressed so that all can focus on success.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us build a positive and focused learning environment.
Dr. Savage
Principal
