Project Abstract
Analogue gauges are essential instruments for measuring physical quantities in manufacturing industries. Currently, monitoring relies on manual observations by machine or equipment operators, a process that is time-consuming and prone to human errors. This project proposes an intelligent software solution to automate gauge readings using computer vision techniques, including OpenCV, and a deep learning model. The model will be trained on a dataset of analogue gauge images, to provide a precise and accurate inference of the corresponding digital value.
