Project Description

Smart water meters are becoming more and more ubiquitous. This development is being driven by advances in technology, which have made it easier and cheaper for utilities to collect meter readings wirelessly from customers' premises. This increases data accuracy and leads to huge savings for utilities. The major drawback is, however, that meter readings can be tampered with, while in transit. To address this problem, a blockchain-based data management architecture will be developed in this project. This will help to ensure that the integrity of the data is preserved.
