Each booth includes on 6-foot table, two chairs, and a tablecloth. If you requested a booth with electricity, please bring your own extenstion cord and surge protector if needed.
Is there Wi-Fi available?
Yes! You can join the NETWORK NAME, but you will need to accept the terms of service on the splash page.
How many representatives should I bring?
Please plan to bring 2-3 representatives per table to ensure you can talk to multiple students at once without overcrowding.
What time do I need to have my table fully set up?
All tables must be fully staged by 8:45am before students arrive at 9:00am.
What is the difference between Enlistment, Enrollment, and Employment?
Enlistment: Military service paths.
Enrollment: Higher education or trade certification programs.
Employment: Immediate job openings or long-term internship opportunities.
Please be prepared to tell students which "lane" your organization represents!
Are there specific age groups I should focus on?
Grades 9–10 are often in the "Exploration" phase (Enrollment), while Grades 11–12 are looking for immediate "Exits" (Internships, Enlistment, and Employment).
How do I handle student resumes?
Students have been encouraged to bring physical resumes. If you prefer digital copies, we suggest having a QR code displayed at your booth that links to your application portal or a simple interest form.
Will students be prepared with specific questions?
Yes! All students have been provided resources prior to the event and will have the opportunity to attend live sessions during the event.
What should I do if a student is too shy to start a conversation?
We encourage you to be "Active Drivers!" Ask them: "What are you passionate about?" or "Have you ever considered a career in [Your Field]?" Many of our 9th graders are new to networking and appreciate it when you break the ice.
How do I follow up with a student I interviewed?
If you find a "star recruit," please note their name and contact info. We ask that all official internship offers or follow-up interviews be coordinated through ePathways to ensure all student safety protocols are met.
Can I give out "swag" (branded pens, stickers, candy)?
Absolutely! Students love "road snacks" and gear. We just ask that you avoid anything that creates a significant mess or safety hazard.
Is there a "fast lane" for students who are ready to interview and pursue a job?
If you have immediate job openings, please flag your booth with the "Hiring Now" sign provided in your check-in packet to signal serious candidates to stop.
Where is the event located?
The event will be located in Building L at Seminole State College Sanford/Lake Mary campus. See map here.

Do I need to bring my own tablecloth or signage?
We provide a basic black tablecloth and a table sign with your name. You are encouraged to bring your own branded display items.
Will there be an event evaluation?
Absolutely. We value your feedback to help us improve the "Pathways" for next year. A QR code for a quick 2-minute survey will be placed on your table.
