In the summer of 2017, I matched with a woman who is battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).  I donated peripheral blood stem cells through a process of apheresis in the hopes of helping her grow healthy bone marrow to fight her type of cancer.  If you are between the ages of 18-45, please consider registering with Be the Match to help people suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, and other diseases or disorders.

Update September 2018: I got to meet my recipient, her husband, two little kids, and her parents.  It was a fun night just bonding.  We have an open invitation to Myanmar from her dad!
