Meet 1: October 13, 2025
Congratulations to team who took 1st place at the meet at Bemidji Middle School on Monday. Individually, Owen Shaw took first place with a perfect score. Lilly Lane tied for second, while Quincee Bergee and Piper Swanson are tied for 5th. Also competing very successfully were Hudson Amiot, Theodore Olson, Silas Taggatz, Aurora Thomas, and Wesley Zoller.
Meet 2: November 3, 2025
The competed at St. Phillips in Bemidji for meet 2. The team placed 3rd, but remains in 1st place overall. Owen Shaw led the scoring with one perfect test. Shaw remains in first place for the league, with Silas Taggatz tied for 7th overall, and Piper Swanson tied in 11th place. TRF will host the 3rd meet on Nov. 24th.
Meet 3: November 24, 2025
After winning their home meet, the FMS math league team is in 1st place in the northern division. Individually, Owen Shaw is in first place, Lilly Lane is in the top 5, Silas Taggetz is tied in the 7th spot, and Piper Swanson is tied in the 11th position. Shaw had another perfect score.
Meet 4: December 15, 2025
Congratulations on a great showing in meet 4 of the year held at Bemidji Middle School on Monday. The team took 2nd (by 2 points) and holds on to first place in the division for the year. Lillian Lane had the high score of the meet, with Owen Shaw just 2 points behind Lane.
For the year, Shaw is in 1st place individually, Lane is in 3rd while Silas Taggetz is tied in 8th place. Piper Swanson is 14th, Aurora Thomas 17th and Quincee Bergee in 18th.
At the state level, FMS is currently in 43rd place of over 300 teams. Individually, Shaw is ranked 27 of all students competing.
Meet 5: January 12, 2026
Congratulations for the 1st place finish in the regular season Math League competitions!
Individually, Owen Shaw placed 1st, Lilly Lane 3rd, and Silas Teggatz placed 7th. Just missing the medals were Piper Swanson in 12th place, with Quincee Bergee and Aurora Thomas tied in the 17th slot. Also scoring well was the rest of our team, Wesley Zoller, Hudson Amiot, Teddy Olson and Avyn Halvorson.
Next up for the team is the regional competition on February 6th at Northland.
