Crest Hill Elementary School

Dear Crest Hill Elementary Families,

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the principal of Crest Hill Elementary School. This will be my 25th year in NCSD #1. During my years in the classroom, I taught both primary and intermediate grades.  As a parent to four children and two step-children, alongside our lively pack of five dogs, I understand the importance of family and community in a child's education. I look forward to working together to ensure a year of growth, joy, and academic excellence for all our students.

I firmly believe that every student has the potential to achieve greatness, and it is our responsibility to nurture and support their unique talents and abilities. Our dedicated staff is committed to fostering a love of learning and encouraging our students to strive for excellence in all they do.

I believe that the partnership between home and school is crucial to a child's success. Your involvement and support play a significant role in the educational experience of your child. I encourage you to become active participants in our school community. Whether through volunteering in the classroom, participating in school events, or joining the PTO, your engagement helps create a vibrant and supportive environment for our students.

As we embark on this new school year, our focus will be on providing a well-rounded education that challenges and inspires our students. We will emphasize academic excellence while also prioritizing the social and emotional well-being of each child. By fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and empathy, we aim to equip our students with the skills they need to navigate the world confidently and compassionately.
