Reminder:
Student drop off, prior to 7:55 am, is in the parking lot off Donegal, at the back of the building through the Athletic Entrance. Students dropped off near the office entrance will not be admitted into the building until 7:55am.
Students who arrive AFTER the beginning of the day (8:00am) will need to enter through the main office doors in the lot off of Waterford.
Student Morning Dropoff
Before the winter season arrives, we wanted to review the morning drop-off procedures to quickly get students into the building and decrease the time it takes to get through the line. Our primary focus in the whole process is student safety, which is why students cannot be dropped off in the parking lot. Take a look at the diagram below as a review of the protocol. Keep the following points in mind:
Students can be dropped off at spots 1 and 2 on the diagram that are indicated in blue.
If you're dropping off at spot 1, please merge left to exit on the road nearest the basketball hoops (indicated by the yellow split lines on the diagram).
If you're dropping off at spot 2, pull up as far as you can to allow as many cars to follow and drop off as well. Then proceed through the bus line to exit.
Traffic really slows down when the front of line stops before the first crosswalk. If we can get more than two students dropped off at once, the line will move much faster.
Do not have students cross the street from the parking lot side.
