Results show larger variation in responses. 50% of responses are from 1-3 hours per day.

Around 50%-60% of the responses show inclinations towards pop and hip-hop.

The majority of the responses come from ninth and tenth graders. Around 51% come from 9th graders and around 42% come from 10th graders. Around 76% of the responses come from musicians.

1. IS MUSIC IMPORTANT TO YOU? TO WHAT EXTENT? IN WHICH WAYS?

Various responses answered that music helps lower their stress levels. You can already see how music creates a "safe" environment. Others commented how they use music to reflect how they want their emotional mood to change.

2. WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT?

Majority of the answers used their admiration for music as their reasoning for learning an instrument. There were also individuals who saw learning the systematics behind learning how to play an instrument interesting.
