Adele is famous for her killer vocal cords and her pop music. Her first album, 19, was released in 2008. As of this year, she is 32 years old, and she began her singing career at the age of four.

Adele’s cover of Love Song, originally by the band The Cure, starts off calmly with light, rhythmic tapping, overlaid by a smooth guitar hook. As the strum of the guitar chords grows, subtle electronic sounds come in that compliment the guitar. As the song continues, other instruments including a violin and an accordion can be heard.

This song is about being in love with someone. How someone can heal you and truly make you feel full in your life. Adele confirms the idea of feeling fulfilled when she sings, “You make me feel like I am whole again.” perhaps meaning that her past heartbreaks took pieces of her but this person was able to put her back together. She falls so deeply in love with this person, she promises that she will always love them “however far away.” Adele’s cover of Love Song is touching and really shows what impact falling in love can really have on someone.
