Depending on how you answered the question regarding your parents marital status, you will see different questions or sections.

If you answered that your parent was divorced, widowed, or never married, you will see that the FAFSA only asks you questions about ONE parent.

If you answered that your parents were married, remarried, or unmarried but living together, you will see that the FAFSA asks you the same questions for BOTH parents (including step-parents).

For our example as we go forward, we will provide the questions/screens for parents who are married/remarried so that you can see all of the questions (just understand that it may look a little differently on your FAFSA form).
