This is Miss Arbino

Miss Arbino

This will be my seventh year teaching and my fifth year teaching in Texas. I have taught every grade level in high school, and am very excited to work with such amazing students. My goal as a teacher is to equip students with transferable skills, so that what they learn in English class actually helps them in real life. I consider myself a very practical teacher in this sense, and I know that engaging your child and providing genuine connections to literature is paramount.

Education

I graduated from California State University Fresno in 2009 with my Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts. I spent a couple of years as a personal trainer and nutrition counselor before I went back to Fresno state in 2015 to get my teaching credential.

About ME

In my spare time, I really enjoy working out and have been an active participant in CrossFit for the past seven years. I love to eat healthy foods and I am constantly drinking water! Except in the morning of course, when coffee is the only way that I can start my day.

I have two dogs, Skip and Daisy, and two cats, Zoe and Boo. I love animals, and if I could save every single rescue animal I see I would.

I am also fortunate enough to coach Softball at McCollum, and am always excited for Spring to roll around and the season to get underway.
