Beginner REGISTRATION for 2025-2026 is being done via each elementary school this fall. School-specific orchestra websites with registration links can be found at the top of this page. Please find general information in the attached brochure and below on this webpage.

Tuesday September 9th, 4:00pm-7:00pm
at Phoenix Elementary School
Please stop by between 4:00 and 7:00pm for a chance to meet your school's orchestra teacher, rent an instrument, and get answers to any further questions you may have. All local music vendors will be present so that you can rent an instrument and purchase supplies. Parking is available in the United Lutheran lots across 4th Ave, or along Chestnut and Belmont Streets. Please use door 1 or door 4.

Instrument rentals are available from several local music retailers. Each store has similar but differing rental prices and policies, varying from month-to-month contracts that can be cancelled at any time, to a percentage of the rental price going towards owning an instrument. Please consider the pros/cons of each rental options when choosing a vendor. Most stores offer insurance programs. Insurance is recommend especially for the larger instruments (cellos and basses).
