Choir Options

The Northwest Guilford High School Viking Voices Chorus has a longstanding tradition of excellence in choral music. The program is under the direction of Dr. Andrew Dancy. The chorus serves nearly 70 students who participate in one or more of the following choirs:

Concert Choir

Treble Ensemble (auditioned)

Honors Vocal Ensemble (auditioned)

We go beyond the classroom to enrich our students.

Each year, the Northwest Guilford High School chorus plans a trip that will enhance the chorus experience for all who can attend. We’ve been to New York City, Nashville, Disney World, and more! This is not a requirement of the class but those who can make it for past trips report having a fantastic time. Next year we plan to visit NYC!
