This site contains resources to help you become familiar with your role in the school and district practices, whether you’re new to the school library profession or just new to GCS.
We offer meetings specifically for new SLMCs. We will have specific topics to discuss at each meeting and time to ask questions and get to know each other.
Your first year in school librarianship or just in a new school district can be daunting. It is important to set realistic goals and priorities to make it a positive experience. Please let us know how we can help!
