Our school is committed to offering a variety of activities that promote student interaction and create meaningful high school experiences. These events help students build confidence, develop social skills, and explore their interests beyond the classroom. Through active participation, students grow both personally and academically, making their time at Erhlin truly memorable.
This interactive activity simulates a real airport setting, where teachers act as airport staff and students as travelers. It serves as a practical assessment of students’ understanding of airport-related vocabulary and English expressions taught in class, encouraging them to apply what they’ve learned through conversation at each airport checkpoint.
Through the efforts of the Changhua County Government, students from five schools—including Erhlin High School—have the opportunity to travel to California and experience American culture firsthand. By staying with host families and engaging in a full English-speaking environment, students enhance their language skills while gaining cultural awareness.
This cultural exchange program invites foreign students to visit Erhlin High School, where local English teachers organize interactive activities. It offers a unique opportunity for Erhlin students to engage in cross-cultural dialogue, learn about other cultures, and proudly share their own Taiwanese heritage.
In partnership with CSUSM, this program offers a weekly four-hour online English class led by a native English teacher in California. Students from five schools participate every Saturday, practicing intensive English communication in a structured and immersive virtual environment.
Held monthly during the school’s flag-raising ceremony, this challenge randomly selects students to engage in a short English conversation on stage with a foreign English teacher. It helps students build confidence in public speaking and rewards successful participants with a small incentive.
