In class, students are often asked to practice dialogues from the book by reading them aloud in front of their peers. However, many students feel shy or nervous, which can affect their confidence and performance. To address this, we introduced a new and engaging activity called the Voice Over Activity.
在課堂上,學生經常被要求朗讀課本中的對話,並在同學面前練習。然而,許多學生會感到害羞或緊張,這可能會影響他們的自信心和表現。為了解決這個問題,我們引入了一項新穎且有趣的活動,稱為「配音活動」。
For this activity, students were divided into groups, with each group having the same number of members as there are characters in the dialogue. The teacher first explained the activity and guided the students through a full practice of the dialogue. Afterwards, each group was given time to rehearse on their own and prepare for their recording.
在這項活動中,學生被分成小組,每組的人數與對話中的角色數相同。老師首先說明了活動的進行方式,並帶領學生完整練習了一遍對話。之後,每個小組都有時間自行排練並準備錄音。
Once ready, students recorded their voice-over as a group, reading the dialogue with expression and clarity. This activity took up the entire class session, allowing students enough time to collaborate and feel comfortable with their performance.
準備就緒後,學生以小組形式進行配音錄製,用富有表情和清晰的語調朗讀對話。這項活動耗時一整堂課,讓學生有充足的時間進行合作,並在輕鬆的氛圍中展現自信的表現。
In the following session, the recorded videos were played in class. This gave students the opportunity to hear themselves perform without the pressure of speaking in front of everyone. It created a more relaxed environment where they could focus on improving their reading fluency, pronunciation, and confidence.
在接下來的課堂中,播放了學生錄製的配音影片。這讓學生有機會在沒有當眾發言壓力的情況下聽到自己的表現,營造出一個更輕鬆的學習環境,使他們能專注於提升朗讀流暢度、發音與自信心。
The Voice Over Activity not only made dialogue practice more enjoyable but also encouraged creativity, teamwork, and self-assessment.
配音活動不僅讓對話練習變得更有趣,還鼓勵了學生的創造力、團隊合作精神以及自我評估能力。
