Perry Junior High Student Council is here to represent the voice of the students, promote school spirit, and help make our school a better place. We work together to plan fun events, support important causes, and turn students’ ideas and goals into action. Through leadership and teamwork, we aim to make our school a welcoming, respectful, and exciting place for everyone.

Let the Good Times Roll
We host themed Fun Nights each quarter — awesome events where students can hang out, make memories, and celebrate the school year together. Some of our favorite traditions include:
Spooky Carnival – A Halloween bash with games, candy, prizes, and a costume contest!
Reel in the New Year – Our yearly movie night on our 24-foot screen where everyone shows up in their comfiest pajamas. Bring a blankie and some popcorn!
Spring Fling – This is our middle school dance full of music, fun, and prizes. The theme changes from year to year, but the good times always stay the same!
Fundraising with Purpose (and a Lot of Fun!)
In addition to our themed Fun Nights, StuCo also leads creative and exciting fundraisers throughout the year. These events not only help support school activities, but also give students a chance to get involved in meaningful, hands-on ways. Whether it’s raising money for future field trips, student incentives, or community projects, our fundraisers are all about making a difference—while having a blast doing it!
From competitions to festive raffles, we believe giving back to our school community should be just as fun as it is impactful.
Eyes on the Pies – Our Thanksgiving-time fundraiser where students enter a raffle to pie a teacher in the face (yes, really)!
Spread the Love – A local fundraiser that helps feed our community by providing peanut butter and jelly sacked lunches. We do both donations and help make the sandwiches!
Exploring with Perry Pride
At Perry Middle School, Student Council (StuCo) is all about building community, creating fun, and giving students a voice! Each year, StuCo helps fund two exciting field trips for students, giving everyone the chance to learn and explore beyond the classroom. We have big plans to expand our field trips and take our students on even more adventures!
These are the trips that we are taking in 2025:
Dayton Air Force Museum – This is a new field trip this year! In December we will be taking all middle school students that have exhibited good behavior on a trip to explore the Dayton Air Force Museum. Our students get a chance to explore how Ohio played a major part in the history of aviation.
Toledo Zoo – This is our end-of-year excursion for our middle school students. After working hard and choosing positive behaviors, students are invited to spend the day at the Toledo Zoo. This field trip is completely free for students!
StuCo is proud to make Perry a place where students feel included, heard, and excited to be part of something special.
More than just fun, our goal is to help students grow into great people—not just great students—by learning responsibility, leadership, and kindness along the way.
