Volunteer Training

As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to be a positive role model and mentor for our cadets. Your dedication and commitment to their growth and development will not only benefit them but also the community at large. By sharing your skills, knowledge, and experiences, you can help our cadets reach their full potential and achieve their goals. We appreciate your willingness to give back and make a difference in the lives of our future leaders. Thank you for your service and for being a valuable member of our team!

Instructions for successful training completion

Completion of the mandatory training materials is required before supervising cadets of the Montana Youth Challenge Academy. The training equips individuals with necessary skills to work with at-risk youth, including identifying challenges, developing strategies, and effective communication. The training covers various topics such as positive youth development, behavior management, conflict resolution, and cultural competence. It helps individuals become more effective mentors or volunteers and prepares them to support at-risk youth in achieving their full potential.

Please complete the linked validation form for each training module to confirm you have completed the corresponding training. Please bring any questions about the training material to Seth Gillis (406)960-4213 seth.gillis@mycacademy.org
