Hacksaw Ridge is a great movie that depicts a real-life story of Desmond Doss, who single-handedly rescued between 50 and 100 men by carrying or lowering them down the Maeda Escarpment Clliff face to safety. For his heroism, he was awarded the Medal of Honor by President Harry S. Truman. Throughout the Okinawa campaign, Doss was wounded four times. After being hit by a grenade and shot by a sniper, he prioritized more critically injured soldiers over himself, even crawling to safety with a homemade splint on his shattered arm. This movie shows the recognition for the soldiers who fought during World War 2. I hope you guys will watch this movie, as this could show how one person could help others.
