We are accepting student work for our paper! You can find more details in the Art Gallery.
All students who had straight A’s were put onto the Principal’s list and invited to a donut party during their second period. They would then look at the surrounding tables and pick up a certificate and a pencil to celebrate their achievement. This was a perfect time to honor the students who have worked hard to achieve amazing grades, and it was also a place where students could take time off of school and hang out with friends. However, even if you weren’t able to get the grades you wanted, you still had a chance to attend the Club Claws Party. The Club Claws Party was for anyone with no “U’s” in citizenship, no more than two minor infractions, no dress-code violations, no cell-phone violations, no major infractions, and no more than one F. It was supposed to be held outside either at the Junior High Park, or near the basketball courts during seventh period. However, due to fires in Los Angeles, the air quality was too poor for anyone to leave the classrooms, and the party was held inside. Students who weren’t allowed to attend the party went to the auditorium. Students who did attend were given a sweet cherry treat and were allowed to spend the last few minutes of school talking with friends. Congratulations Bobcats!
