Emmaline Elmore, eighth grade, is excited to be Co-Editor-in-Chief in the Bobcat Times staff while also running the Instagram and website. In the 2024-2025 school year, Emmaline and her best friend Madison Lester started the Newspaper Club also known as Paper People. Her idea was to have a community of students share their ideas and opinions with each other through writing.
When Emmaline is not writing in Newspaper she might be playing volleyball at the local club team ACT, singing in the Brea Show Choir Express as their Friendship Captain, dancing in the school dance team for fitness, NJHs, working on her silver award for Girl Scouts, babysitting or tutoring.
In her free time she enjoys watching TV shows like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Dance Moms,” and “The Summer I Turned Pretty.” She also likes listening to music, hanging out with friends, and playing with her dog Maple, a golden doodle.
For high school she wants to go to Brea-Olinda High School and pursue the Brea Choir, join the Wildcat staff (the high school newspaper), and play on the volleyball and track teams. In track and field she wants to do the high jump and long jump.
