Belton High School
Describe your senior year in three words.
Fast, fun, unforgettable.
Finish this sentence: “I will always remember…”
running out of the tunnel onto Tiger Field with my teammates, waiving the Belton flag and walking out with my parents on Senior Night.
Tell us about your favorite teacher throughout all of high school and what made him/her special.
Ms. Adams. She has been a great teacher for me though middle school and high school. She takes her time and explains things where I can understand them. She is very caring and takes pride in her work and students. My favorite coach is, by far, Coach Engelke. He mentored me and took time to teach me techniques to better myself. He always encouraged me and made me work harder to be my best self.
If you could create one mandatory course for future seniors, what would it be?
A class to teach cursive writing.
Tell us about an accomplishment you are most proud of and why.
I am most proud of earning my spot on the varsity football team. It had been my goal since middle school. It took hard work, dedication and effort every day. I never quit! Being a Belton Tiger and putting on that jersey brought me great pride in being part of an awesome team.
Who are your strongest supporters and why?
My parents; they have alway been there for me every step of the way.
What’s next after graduation?
I'm going to Texas A&M University and completing the PATHS program. I will be working toward becoming a teacher's aid and coaching assistant.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Back at Belton High School helping to coach football.
What are you most looking forward to reading, watching, or doing this summer?
I'm looking forward to watching some Texas A&M football practices/scrimmages and learning as much as possible about the A&M campus.
Is there anything else you would like to share?
It has been an honor to go to Belton High School. I will alway cherish the good memories; once a Tiger, always a Tiger.
