AP Capstone was developed at the request of higher education professionals who saw a need for a systemic way for high school students to master certain skills prior to University.
Capstone courses develop students’ skills in research, analysis, evidence-based arguments, collaboration, writing, and presenting.

Students gain access to the University of Toronto to complete research projects and receive mentorship from a community of researchers. Capstone students at Bishop Reding receive the opportunity to present their projects at St. Michael's Colloquium in Toronto, with the possibility of having their work published.
