My history of writing a story ⋆⑅˚
I was twelve years old when I began writing. I love watching crime mystery movies and thought I'd try writing a story. Writing what I imagine and building my own world are the things that make it enjoyable. However, I gave it up right away the first time I tried because I was struggling. My narration wasn't good either, and my grammar and spelling were incorrect. However, as time went on and I spent more time writing the story, I gradually gained knowledge. My vocabulary is expanding and I am learning proper grammar, even in Tagalog. And the more time and experience I get, the more motivated I am to complete my novel. And during Women's Month, I had the idea to write a story for women, which I am still working on even though I have so many ideas for new stories.
How do I write stories? ₊✧⋆˚
When I have a school break, I take that opportunity to draft a chapter. But when I have classes, I only write a chapter when I have free time or every time I sleep late. I jot down a scenario as soon as I think of an experience from my life that I think would work well in the story, just to make sure I remember it. Now that we're on Christmas break, I'm finishing my schoolwork first so I won't have to worry about it when I continue writing the story.
To organize my story, I'm using a "notion" website to create an outline of my novel before I start writing because it gives me an idea of what I want to write in each chapter.
